Gold, Silver Price Today: Silver fell and gold also fell, movement in the market!

Gold, Silver Price Today : A fall in the prices of gold and silver was recorded in the international market on Monday, April 13. This situation has arisen in the market at a time when investors are already taking decisions in an environment of uncertainty. Rising geopolitical tensions have pushed oil prices higher. Due to which inflation estimates have also been affected.

Spot gold has fallen by more than 11% since the war between US-Israel and Iran started on February 28. Generally, inflation and geopolitical risks increase demand for gold as a hedge, but higher interest rates put pressure on gold.

On MCX, gold rates for June futures opened ₹1,105 (or 0.72%) lower at ₹1,51,547 per 10 grams, compared to its previous close of ₹1,52,652. On MCX, silver rates for May futures opened ₹4,912 (or 2.01%) lower at ₹2,38,362 per kg, compared to its previous close of ₹2,43,274.

On Friday, the last trading day of last week, MCX Silver Price closed at Rs 2,43,274 per kg. On the first day of the week, the price of silver with expiry of May 5 fell to Rs 2,37,190 as soon as it opened. Accordingly, silver became cheaper by Rs 6,084 per kg.
