Today the prices of gold and silver have fallen on MCX, due to which the concerns of investors have increased considerably. Within the last 36 hours, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 3497, which is considered a huge fall.
On Wednesday night, the futures price of gold remained at the level of Rs 1,45,693. Today on Friday morning around 9.30 am it was trading at the rate of Rs 1,42,196 per 10 grams. This change directly reflects the current market volatility and international pressure to the world and investors.

According to MCX data, on January 29, gold had reached a record high of Rs 1,93,096. From then till today, the prices of gold have dropped by a huge Rs 50,900. The fall in the international market also continued on Friday and spot gold in Singapore became 0.4% cheaper at $ 4030.09 an ounce.

Talking about the prices of silver, this morning it was trading at the rate of Rs 2,18,539 per kg. On Wednesday, 1 kg silver had closed at Rs 2,27,180, which has seen a huge fall of Rs 8,641 in 35 hours. The all time high of MCX Silver is Rs 4,20,048 and it has become cheaper by Rs 2,01,509 from its highest level.
Experts’ opinion
Brian Lan, Managing Director of Gold-Silver Central, has said that more ups and downs may be seen in the coming short time. According to him, gold has been badly stuck between $3,980 and $4,170 for the last several weeks. Whenever the price goes near or below $4000, big buyers come in and immediately pull it back up.
