In the capital Delhi on Friday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs 100 to Rs 1,55,900 but now the market is bullish. Today on May 10, 24 carat gold has reached the highest level of Rs 1,52,500 per 10 grams in Delhi. In the international market too, spot gold is trading strongly at a high level of $ 4,721 per ounce. The direct impact of these rising prices of gold and silver is clearly visible on the common man’s pocket and his household budget.
Prices in big cities of the country
In Delhi, the price of 24 carat gold has been fixed at Rs 1,52,500 and the price of 22 carat gold has been fixed at Rs 1,39,800 per 10 grams. In Mumbai and Kolkata, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 1,39,650 and the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 1,52,350. In Chennai, 24 carat gold is being sold in the market at the rate of Rs 1,54,370 and 22 carat gold at Rs 1,41,030 per 10 grams.
In Pune and Bengaluru, the price of 24 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,52,350 and 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,39,650 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad and Bhopal, 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,52,400 and 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 1,39,700 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh, 24 carat gold is available for Rs 1,52,500 and 22 carat gold for Rs 1,39,800.
Rise in silver prices
Along with gold, the price of other precious metal silver has also registered a huge increase on a weekly basis. Within a week, the price of silver has increased by a huge Rs 10,000 per kg. After this huge increase, the latest price of silver on the morning of May 10 has become Rs 2,75,000 per kg.
