Goldman Sachs maintains Buy rating on Shyam Metalics, retains Rs 1,050 target

Global brokerage Goldman Sachs has reiterated its Buy rating on Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. and maintained its target price of ₹1,050.

According to the brokerage, the company is estimated to report revenue of ₹17.8 billion in May 2026representing a 16.5% year-on-year increase. The growth outlook is supported by favorable pricing trends and higher volumes across key product segments.

Goldman Sachs noted that Shyam Metalics reported positive price variance across its product portfolio during Mayindicating improved realizations across multiple products.

The brokerage also highlighted that the company’s newly commissioned cold-rolled coils (CRC) and pig iron capacities are generating strong year-on-year volume growth. The ramp-up of these facilities is contributing to the company’s operational performance and revenue expansion.

In the aluminium business, Goldman Sachs said that aluminium foil volumes were impacted by shifts in product mix during the month. However, the brokerage added that realizations in the segment remained healthy, helping support overall revenue trends.

The brokerage’s assessment reflects continued optimism regarding Shyam Metalics’ growth prospects, driven by capacity additions, volume expansion, and supportive pricing across its product portfolio.
