UP DA News: Before Diwali, Yogi government gave a big gift to its employees; This percentage increase in DA
UP Good News: Before Diwali, the Yogi government of UP has gifted DA along with bonus to its employees on Diwali. The government has increased the DA of state government employees by three percent. After which the rate of dearness allowance has increased to 53 percent. Employees will get its benefits from July-2024.

About 17 lakh employees of the state are going to get the benefit of DA increase from the Yogi government. The special thing is that this time before Diwali the employees will get all three salary, bonus and dearness allowance. Salaried employees will get the DA increase money on 30th October, before Diwali. Earlier on Wednesday, Yogi government had announced bonus to 14.82 lakh non-gazetted state employees, teachers and non-teaching employees of the state.
After the announcement of bonus by CM Yogi, the Finance Department had also issued a government order late in the evening. Employees will be given a bonus equal to 30 days' emoluments for the year 2023-24. Every employee will get a bonus of Rs 6,908. Apart from this, pension payments to pensioners and family pensioners will also be made till October 30 due to the festival.
The government order states that Diwali on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 2, and the festivals of Bhai Dooj and Chitragupta Jayanti on November 3 have been declared public holidays.
