Amul has reduced the prices of Amul Gold, Amul fresh and T special milk. This step will provide great relief to consumers. The prices of milk in the country have increased considerably. In the recent past, all the companies had increased the prices of milk. Now, by reducing the price of milk by Amul, there will be pressure on other companies to reduce the price.
Reduction in price
According to media reports, Amul Dairy has cut the price of three milk products- Amul Gold, Amul fresh and T special by Rs 1 per liter. The price of one liter pouch of Amul Gold was earlier Rs 66, which has now been reduced to Rs 65. The price of a liter pouch of Amul Tea Special Milk was Rs 62, which is now Rs 61. In this way, the rate of Amul fresh milk was Rs 54 per liter, which has now been reduced to Rs 53.
Prices increased in June 2024
Amul Dairy increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter in June last year. After this increase, the price of 500 ml of Amul Gold increased from Rs 32 to Rs 33. The price of one liter of Amul Gold increased from Rs 64 to Rs 66, Amul fresh 500 ml price increased from Rs 26 to Rs 27 and Amul Shakti 500 ml price increased from Rs 29 to Rs 30. The new rates have been implemented across the country from June 3.
Mother dairy is not even behind
Mother Dairy also increased the price of milk in Delhi-NCR in June. Due to the increase in prices, now the full cream milk of Mother Dairy has increased to Rs 68 per liter, toned milk by Rs 56 and double toned milk is Rs 50 per liter. The price of buffalo milk is Rs 72 and the price of cow's milk is Rs 58 per liter.
