India First Modern Wedding City: Good news for the people of Delhi-NCR, the country’s first modern wedding city will be established in Gurugram.
India First Modern Wedding City: Now people of Delhi-NCR will not need to go to any other state or far-flung hill stations during the wedding season. The country’s first modern wedding city will be established in Gurugram adjacent to Delhi. The modern Wedding City will be built on 186 acres in Fazilwas, Gurugram. Here all the wedding related facilities (banquet, shopping, hotel) will be available at one place. The objective of this project is to make Haryana a destination wedding hub and generate employment opportunities.
The biggest feature of this wedding city will be that here all the rituals from engagement to farewell can be completed in one complex. This will be an integrated project, in which many facilities will be world class.
According to HSIIDC Managing Director Sushil Sarwan, the main objective of this project is to promote the culture of Haryana and to attract people to stay within the state for destination weddings. This project will be based on the Prime Minister’s Vocal for Local Vision. Apart from Gurugram, the government also plans to develop similar wedding cities in Kharkhoda and Pinjore.
These facilities will be available
The country’s first modern wedding city will have luxury halls based on different themes, open grounds, catering zone, decoration services, in-house transport facilities. It will also include a special shopping area for jewellery, clothes, entertainment zone and high-tech guest houses and hotels for the guests to stay.
Thousands of youth will get employment
This project will prove to be a booster dose not only for weddings but also for the economy. Local artisans, boutique operators, jewelers and event planners will get a large and sustainable market. Thousands of youth will get employment opportunities in event management, hotel industry, transport and food sectors. Local youth will get an opportunity to learn the tricks of modern hospitality and management. After Global City and Vision City in Gurugram, this Wedding City is going to prove to be a milestone in the real estate and tourism sector of Haryana.
