Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh government has given a big gift to the farmers on the occasion of Holi. With the aim of promoting modernity in the agricultural sector in the state and doubling the income of farmers, it has been announced to provide subsidy on various agricultural equipment under the Submission on Agriculture Mechanization Scheme.
The Agriculture Department said that under the scheme, eligible farmers can register online from 25 February 2026. The registration process will continue till 12 midnight of March 4, 2026, after which the portal will close automatically. Therefore, the department has appealed to the farmers to complete their registration in time and take advantage of this opportunity.
On which instruments will the benefit be available?
The scheme includes agricultural drones, monoculture implements and other modern machinery. Heavy subsidy will be given on these as per the percentage fixed by the government. This will make it easier for small and marginal farmers to purchase machinery and will increase the use of modern technology in farming.

Complete process online: Farmers can register by logging into the official website of the Agriculture Department or the respective state portal.
Required Documents: Aadhaar card, copy of bank passbook, letter and mobile number (linked to Aadhaar).
Selection Process: Booking will be done on “first come – first served” or lottery system.
Farmers will get facilities
On the occasion of Holi, this window has been opened only for one week so that farmers can purchase their equipment in time. The entire process has been kept online and transparent, so that interference of any middleman can be avoided. Farmers can now register themselves directly by visiting the government portal and avail the subsidy available on purchase of machinery.
