KKR’s failure to announce Harshit Rana’s replacement or confirm his absence from the tournament suggests that Rana may be fit. The IPL will continue till April 12. The competition is huge and if Harshit recovers and is fit to play, he could play the last few matches of the league for KKR. Recently, Harshit was seen walking with the help of a stick at the BCCI Naman Awards ceremony.
Not only Harshit Rana, but Mathisha Pathirana is also injured. Pathirana was injured during the 2026 T20 World Cup. In the IPL 2026 auction, KKR bought him for Rs 18 crore. However, like Rana, Pathirana’s involvement is also uncertain.
