Good news for Mumbaikars!! Metro will run on this route soon

Dahisar Kashigaon Metro Line 9 : There is a good news for Mumbaikars. We will see a new metro running in Mumbai this week. The first phase of Dahisar-Mira Bhayandar Metro Line 9 from Dahisar to Kashigaon will be launched this week. BJP MLA Narendra Mehta himself has given information about this. He said that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis himself has directed the administration to organize a program in this regard. This will be of great benefit to the passengers going to Mumbai.

BJP MLA Narendra Mehta said at the Silver Jubilee inauguration ceremony organized by the Municipal Corporation that he met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday and discussed various projects in Mira Bhayander. In this meeting, Fadnavis had said that he himself would attend the inauguration ceremony of Metro (Dahisar Kashigaon Metro Line 9).

The Mumbai Metro Route 9 project between Dahisar and Mira-Bhyander is being implemented by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. The first phase of this metro is between Dahisar and Kashigaon and it has been successfully tested. The second stage is from Kashigaon to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Maidan.

After almost seven years of work, Dahisar-Kashigaon Metro Line 9 has reached its final stage. This metro line will connect Mira-Bhainder directly with Mumbai Metro Route 7 at Dahisar East. This will provide further connectivity to Andheri. The route is expected to reduce congestion on the Western Expressway. This corridor will benefit daily commuters traveling to Mumbai for work from Mira-Bhainder. It is expected to save commuters’ time and reduce traffic congestion on the Western Expressway.

If you want to go to Mumbai from Meera Bhayandar, the passengers have to face a huge traffic jam. Especially at Dahisar Toll Plaza, queues of vehicles can be seen every day. But now after the start of metro, it will be possible to go directly to Andheri from Kashigaon, Pandurangwadi, Mirgaon and other stations.
