Good news for the youth of Bihar, government made a big announcement
Patna. Bihar government has decided to continue the Mukhyamantri Nishchay Self Help Allowance Scheme, which provides financial support to unemployed youth. The State Cabinet has approved to extend the operation of this scheme from the financial year 2026-27 to 2030-31. The government has made a provision of Rs 300 crore for this. With this decision, thousands of eligible youth will continue to get financial assistance while searching for employment in the coming years.
Youth looking for employment will get support
This scheme was launched for those youth who are looking for employment after completing their studies. To ensure that they do not have to face financial difficulties till they get a job, the government provides financial assistance every month to the eligible candidates. The objective of the scheme is to support the youth towards becoming self-reliant and maintain their morale while searching for employment.
Who can avail the benefits of the scheme?
The benefit of the scheme is available to unemployed youth in the age group of 20 to 25 years who have completed Intermediate (12th) or graduation and fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions. Selected beneficiaries are given an assistance amount of Rs 1,000 every month for a maximum of two years, which is sent directly to their bank account.
The scheme will be strengthened with Rs 300 crore
After Cabinet approval, an amount of Rs 300 crore has been sanctioned for the scheme. With this, the scheme will be operated smoothly for the next five years. The government believes that this initiative will provide financial support to the youth looking for employment and they will be able to focus on their career without additional financial pressure.
