According to the latest update, now government employees and pensioners can put forward their suggestions and demands before the Commission till 30th April. In a press release issued on April 20, the Commission made it clear that the process has not stopped yet, which has brought a sigh of relief to thousands of employees.

What was the confusion regarding the deadline?

Actually, for the last few days, there was a lot of confusion among the employees regarding the last date for submission of memorandum. The Commission has clarified that the deadline of April 20 which was under discussion was only for those unions and associations who wanted to be a part of early negotiations in the initial meetings. According to the information released by PIB on 28 October 2025, the Cabinet had approved the ‘Terms of Reference’ of this commission.
