Lucknow. A big good news has come for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Holi. The state government has started a scheme to provide modern equipment in the agricultural sector, so that field work becomes easier and crop production can increase.
Scheme details
Under this initiative, farmers will be provided with farm machinery banks, agricultural drones, crop residue management equipment and other single farm equipment. Additionally, equipment like batch dryers and table cellars will also be delivered to farmers under the Accelerated Maize Development Programme. This scheme has been implemented under the Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanization and other related programmes.
application procedure
Farmers can apply online to join this scheme on the official website of the department www.agridarshan.up.gov.in. Application can be made by going to the “Kisan Corner” section of the website and clicking on Start Equipment Booking. Last date of application is 4th March 2026. After the beneficiaries are selected, it is mandatory to upload the purchase receipt and photo of the instrument within 10 days of purchasing the instrument. This process can be completed on reentratracking.in or the department’s website.

The equipment available under this scheme will help the farmers in saving time and effort in the field. Modern equipment will improve the quality of crops and increase efficiency in farming operations. This initiative of Yogi government will prove to be a special gift of Holi for the farmers, which will make it possible to improve agricultural work and increase production.
