Google responds to Jasprit Bumrah’s ‘most number of runs in a Test over’ remark
Jasprit Bumrah’s response during a press conference after Day 3 of the third Test against Australia has gone viral. Bumrah was asked a question about his batting by a journalist, and now Google India has responded to the fast bowler’s remark. “I only believe in Jassi Bhai,” the search engine giant wrote.
Google India’s reply shows the popularity the speedster enjoys worldwide. Bumrah has been sensational on and off the field.
Reporter: “Hi, Jasprit. What are your thoughts about the batting conditions at Gabba? I know you are not the best person to answer about batting, but still, what do you think?”
Jasprit Bumrah: “It’s an interesting question. But, you have questioned my batting credentials. You should use Google to know who has scored the most runs in an over in Test cricket. But jokes apart. That is altogether a different story.”

Bumrah and Akash Deep helped India avoid a follow-on. When Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed for 77, the visitors still needed 32 runs to make Australia bat again. The two batters showed tough character to bail out their team in Brisbane.
Akash was unbeaten on 27 runs, and Bumrah had accumulated 10 not out when the play was called off due to bad light. India were 252/9 and are 193 runs behind with one day to go.
