Gorakhpur: Bargadwan shaken by murder in broad daylight, 7 in custody; swift police action

gorakhpur. The sensational murder incident that took place in village Bargadwan of Chiluatal police station area has shocked the entire area. There is an atmosphere of fear and anger among the local people after this incident which happened in broad daylight. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police took immediate action and detained 7 suspicious people and they are being interrogated thoroughly.

According to the police, based on the complaint received in the case, a case has been registered under relevant sections. Investigation is being done on many aspects to clarify the reason behind the incident and the role of the accused.

The police team that reached the spot inspected the spot closely and collected important evidence by interrogating the people nearby.

Regarding the incident, Superintendent of Police North while releasing a video byte said, “Taking the matter seriously, a case has been immediately registered. 7 persons are being detained and interrogated. Soon, the incident will be successfully exposed and strict action will be taken against the culprits.”

Several police teams have been formed, which are investigating from different angles. Efforts are being made to reach the accused with the help of surveillance and other technical evidence. At the same time, as a precautionary measure, additional police force has been deployed in the area, so that any untoward situation can be dealt with.

There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers after the incident. People are avoiding saying anything openly, but the anger is clearly visible inside. Local people have demanded the police to arrest the accused as soon as possible and take strict action.
