Gorakhpur. The brutal murder of former councilor Rajkumar Chauhan, which took place on Tuesday morning in Bargadwa of Chiluatal police station area, shook the entire area. This incident, which took place in broad daylight, not only spread panic among the local people but also raised questions on law and order.

According to the information received, Rajkumar Chauhan had gone out for a morning walk as usual. Then four miscreants who were already in ambush surrounded them. According to eyewitnesses, the attackers carried out the incident in a very well-planned manner. First of all he was shot in the head, due to which he got seriously injured and fell down. Even after this the attackers did not stop and stabbed him several times in the chest.

In an attempt to save his life, the injured Chauhan ran for about 100 meters, but the attackers chased him and attacked him again and killed him. The most shocking thing about the incident was that even after committing the crime, the miscreants remained at the spot for some time and after the death was confirmed, they easily escaped. This clearly shows that the accused had no fear of the police in their minds.

It is being told that the attackers had parked their car at some distance and reached the spot on foot, making it difficult to identify them. There was chaos in the area immediately after the incident. As soon as the information was received, the family members reached the spot and Chauhan was taken to BRD Medical College in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.

As soon as information about the incident was received, top police and administration officials reached the spot. The entire area has been surrounded and investigation has been started and heavy police force has been deployed as a precautionary measure. Eyewitnesses are being interrogated and footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized.

The police have formed several teams to arrest the accused and claimed that the killers will be arrested soon. At the same time, after this heinous murder, there is an atmosphere of tension in the area and people are demanding strict action against the accused.
