According to family members, the girl had left home at around 10 am on Sunday morning to participate in the annual function organized at SS Convent School in Baghagada. After being actively involved in the program throughout the day, she got down by school bus at Bardand intersection near her village in the evening.

It is being told that she said that her bicycle was parked there and got down from the bus and moved towards home, but after that she did not reach home. The family members became worried when the girl did not return home till evening. He first collected information from nearby people, relatives and acquaintances, but could not find any clue. After this, the school administration was contacted, from where it was confirmed that the girl had left by bus after the program. Seeing the situation becoming serious, the family members immediately informed the police.

As soon as the information was received, Khajni police came into action. Under the leadership of Police Station Head Jayant Singh, several teams were formed and the investigation was started. Police have started investigation by taking possession of the footage of CCTV cameras installed in Bardand intersection and surrounding areas. Also, intensive search operations are being carried out in possible places – fields, canals, gardens and deserted areas.

Police are interrogating people nearby and taking the investigation forward keeping in mind every possible angle – kidnapping, seduction or any other reason. Officials say that important clues are expected to be found in the case soon.
