Government’s strictness on online betting, 242 websites blocked in one go, youth getting big relief
Online Gambling India: Taking a big and strong step against illegal online betting and gambling, the Government of India has today blocked 242 illegal website links. According to government sources, this action has been taken to crack down on those online platforms which were promoting illegal betting and gambling through the internet. Action against online gambling intensified
According to government figures, till now more than 7,800 illegal betting and gambling related websites and links have been closed across the country. The special thing is that after the implementation of the Online Gaming Act, the pace of action on such platforms has become faster than before. The government is constantly monitoring the internet and as soon as any illegal activity comes to light, immediate action is being taken.
Greed for easy earning was becoming a big problem
Many illegal websites provide youth with “easy earning” and “quick money” As if they were luring people towards online gambling and betting by luring them with false promises.
