Lucknow. Many people lost their lives due to drinking dirty water in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Now political uproar has started regarding this incident. Opposition leaders are continuously raising questions on this matter. BSP supremo Mayawati said that it is the first responsibility of every government to provide clean air and water etc. to the people, but here, just like crime control and law and order, government negligence and corruption etc. in relation to basic public facilities is proving to be quite fatal and families are being uprooted, this is very sad and very worrying.

The state government needs to take strictest steps to prevent such shameful incidents of playing with the lives of citizens. Besides, the Central Government should also take proper cognizance of this and take effective action so that such painful incidents do not happen in any other state of the country.
