This decision of the Odisha government is going to directly benefit not only the regular employees but also the teaching and non-teaching staff of government-aided educational institutions and universities, judicial officers of lower courts, work-charged employees and contractual employees.

According to official information, this revised DA, which will be implemented from January 1, 2026, has been directly increased from 257 percent to 262 percent of the total of basic and grade pay.
