Government’s clarification on lockdown has come, PM had said – the challenge of war is like Corona, we have to be prepared

Bureau Prayagraj- The impact of the ongoing war in West Asia is being seen almost all over the world. Iran has banned the movement of oil ships in the Gulf of Hormuz, due to which the shortage of oil and gas is increasing worldwide. Its widespread impact is visible on India. In many parts of the country, long queues have formed at petrol pumps and there are also reports of shortage of LPG i.e. cooking gas. At the same time, the uneasiness among the people has increased due to the statement given by the PM in the Parliament.

Actually, rumors of lockdown started after Prime Minister Modi’s statement in Parliament four days ago. He had said that the difficult situation that has arisen in the world due to this war is likely to have a long-lasting impact. We have faced such challenges with solidarity even during the Corona period.

Now a clarification has come from the Central Government on Friday. The government has termed the news of lockdown in the country as a rumour. Three big ministers of the government Nirmala Sitharaman, Kiren Rijiju and Hardeep Puri issued statements. Said that these are just rumours.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that I am surprised that some leaders are saying that there will be a lockdown and there will be fuel shortage. These are baseless things. Such things from people sitting in the political domain are a matter of concern. There will be no lockdown like the one we saw during Covid.
