Govinda, Krushna Abhishek end 7-year feud with emotional hug on The Great Indian Kapil Show | WATCH

New Delhi: Bollywood’s favourite mama-bhatija duo Govinda and Krushna Abhishek have finally buried the hatchet after years of public estrangement. The long-standing feud, which began in 2016, ended with a heartfelt hug on Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show.

In a promo from the upcoming episode, the Partner actor appears alongside Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor as guests. For those who have missed it, the Bollywood icon is recovering from a recent accidental gunshot injury and made a hero-like entrance. He cracked jokes, teased Shakti Kapoor about his rumoured affairs, and shared a lighthearted moment on stage.

Govinda reconciles with Krushna Abhishek

But the real highlight was when Krushna Abhishek joined him on stage, dressed in a quirky “Ali Baba and 40 Thieves” costume. The two broke into a spontaneous dance before sharing a warm hug, marking the end of their seven-year feud. An emotional Arti Singh, Krushna’s sister, was seen in the audience, moved by the reconciliation.

Krushna, overwhelmed by the moment, said, “We’ve met after a long time. Won’t let you go now.” Govinda, keeping the mood playful, called Krushna a “gadha (donkey),” much to the audience’s delight.

Govinda and Krushna Abhishek's feud

The fallout between Govinda and Krushna started in 2016 over a joke made by Krushna on his comedy show. The Hero No 1 actor found the comment disrespectful, and matters worsened after a tweet from Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, was perceived as a dig at the actor. Over the years, the duo aired grievances in interviews, with neither backing down.

The first signs of reconciliation appeared earlier this year when Govinda attended Krushna’s sister Arti Singh’s wedding. This emotional moment on The Great Indian Kapil Show has now cemented their truce.

Govinda’s gunshot incident

Recently, Govinda made headlines for a self-inflicted gunshot injury at home. Sharing the incident, he explained, “It was early morning, and the revolver slipped and went off. I was shocked to see blood but quickly sought medical help.” When asked why he keeps a revolver, Govinda said, “With fame comes both love and envy. It’s important to be cautious.”

The reconciliation has left fans thrilled, with many taking to social media to celebrate the iconic duo’s patch-up.
