(THAT) national sports basketball tournament
CHIREC International School's brand new Serilingampally campus opened with great enthusiasm. The prestigious event, scheduled to run from September 28 to October 2, 2024, will see over 60 teams from across the country showcase their talents while competing for the championship title. Boys and girls under the age of 14 and 19 will take part in this exciting display of youth athleticism and sportsmanship. The tournament was inaugurated by World Technical Delegates and
FIBA Mr. Norman Isaac, former Commissioner of IPL, who shared his expertise and passion for the game.
Ms. Pushpa Senthilkumar, national team center point and women's basketball champion, also graced the event and inspired the young participants with her motivational speech. Our focus on holistic personality development takes the initiative beyond our education, which sports and promotes teamwork, resilience and leadership through other extracurricular activities.” The new Serilingampalli campus exemplifies this commitment with its state-of-the-art facilities, including a 4.5-acre elevated sports deck with five indoor and outdoor basketball courts meeting global standards. These facilities allow students to hone their skills and achieve athletic excellence.
Over the next few days, the grounds of CHIREC will serve as a platform for young athletes to showcase their passion, skills and teamwork. The ISSO National Games at CHIREC aims not only to highlight the sporting talent of India's youth but also to reaffirm our commitment to nurturing future stars in both education and sports.
