Great gift for music lovers! Amazon Music Unlimited launched in India, premium experience available for free for months
Tezzbuzz Desk- Amazon increased the tension of Spotify and YouTube Music with features like access to more than 10 crore songs, Dolby Atmos support and offline download.
Competition in the Indian music streaming market is about to intensify. E-commerce and tech giant Amazon has launched its premium music streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited in India. The company claims that this service will provide users with high-quality audio, ad-free experience and easy access to millions of songs.
Along with the launch, Amazon has also introduced an attractive free trial offer for Prime and Non-Prime customers, allowing users to enjoy the service for a longer period of time without any additional expense.
Prime users will get 6 months free trial
The monthly subscription of Amazon Music Unlimited has been fixed at Rs 99 for Prime members. At the same time, users who do not have Prime membership will have to pay Rs 119 per month for it.
However, under the launch offer, Prime customers will get a chance to use this service for free for 6 months. Whereas non-Prime users will be given a free trial of 3 months. Regular charges will apply after the trial period ends.
Library of more than 10 crore songs
With the new service, users will get access to more than 100 million songs, podcasts and audio content. The company says that it includes a huge content library in international and Indian languages, which will cater to the needs of all types of music lovers.
Enjoy Dolby Atmos and HD audio
The biggest feature of Amazon Music Unlimited is its audio quality. Users will get support for HD, Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos based Spatial Audio. With this, songs can be heard more clearly, with depth and in studio-like sound quality.
Apart from this, the facility of ad-free music streaming and offline download has also been provided, so that favorite songs can be heard even when there is no internet.
Amazon Music will have three options
The company has decided to make music service available in three tiers in India. The first and most premium option would be Amazon Music Unlimited, which includes all the advanced features. The second is Amazon Music for Prime Members, which will be available with Prime subscription, but some features will be limited. The company will also soon launch Amazon Music Free, in which the entire music catalog will be available but users will have to watch advertisements.
Spotify and YouTube Music will be challenged
Services like Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and JioSaavn are already present in the Indian market. In such a situation, Amazon Music Unlimited’s competitive price, long free trial and premium audio features can make it a strong contender in the market.
Experts believe that if Amazon continues to strengthen its offers and content library, it can bring a big change in the Indian music streaming industry.
