Lucknow. A big facility has been started for railway pensioners in Uttar Pradesh. Now pensioners will not have to visit banks or pension offices to submit their life certificates. Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 has been started in Lucknow division, through which pensioners can complete this process sitting at home.

Under this new initiative, pensioners can submit life certificate with the help of their mobile phone, face authentication app or biometric device. The campaign aims to enhance the convenience of senior citizens and ailing pensioners. Earlier, old pensioners had to stand in long queues, due to which they had to face many difficulties. Now this entire process has become digital and easy.
Easy and safe process
Life certificate can be submitted through Aadhaar based face authentication or biometric verification. Pensioners just need to download the Jeevan Pramaan app in their mobile, enter their Aadhaar number and pension details. After this the certificate will be sent directly to the concerned department through OTP or biometric authentication.
Awareness and Support
Special camps will also be organized soon under the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0, in which employees and pensioners will be given information about this process. Divisional Railway Manager Sunil Kumar Verma has appealed to the pensioners to take maximum advantage of this digital facility and seek help from the nearest station or help center if necessary.
