Great news for those making reels-shorts, now AI will create powerful videos
AI Video Generator: Google has his AI video generation model Veo 3.1 Has been given a major upgrade. After this new update, creators will now get videos with better quality, accurate prompt understanding and stable characters than before. The most important change is that native vertical video support for Shorts and Reels has now been added to Veo 3.1. This means that now the hassle of cropping the video or distorting the frame is going to end completely.
Ingredients to Video feature becomes even smarter
Google has made its Ingredients to Video feature quite advanced in Veo 3.1. Now users can create engaging videos with just a reference image and a small text prompt. Where earlier long and detailed prompts were necessary, now story, dialogue and cinematic feel can be found in just a few words. Google says that the new model shows characters and objects between scenes in a more consistent manner than before.
Look will not change in character and scene
The biggest feature of Veo 3.1 is its better character consistency system. According to Google, now the character’s face, body structure and overall appearance will remain the same during the video. Not only this, backgrounds, textures and props can also be reused in different scenes. This will make it very easy to create a long and cohesive story by combining small clips.
Game changer update for Shorts and Reels
Google has added native support for 9:16 aspect ratio in Veo 3.1. This simply means that now AI will automatically generate videos in vertical format. Creators will be able to upload these videos directly to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok without any editing or cropping. Google claims that this feature will make the workflow of creators working on mobile-first platforms much easier.
