It is alleged that a group of bachelors beat up a resident badly when he stopped him from smoking a cigarette. This case pertains to Migsun Twiinz Society, which is located in Surajpur police station area.

According to the information, some youth living in the society were smoking cigarettes in the open. Meanwhile, a resident prohibited him from doing so. It is alleged that angry youths first argued with this and then attacked the resident.

What did the victim allege?

The victim alleges that the youth beat him badly with kicks, punches and sticks, due to which he got injured. After the incident, there was a stir in the society and many residents reached the spot.

What did the people of the society say?

People of the society say that some bachelors living on rent are continuously spoiling the environment. Residents have appealed to the police to take action and strengthen the security arrangements.

Police engaged in investigation

The name of the complainant is Jitendra Rana. The matter is of afternoon. A complaint was lodged in the police station around 3.30 pm, acting on which three accused were arrested.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 115 (2) and 352 of the Indian Judicial Code. At present, the police is investigating the entire matter and the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the society is also being scrutinized.
