‘Greed and shamelessness…’, what else did Aditya Thackeray say for the rebel MPs?
Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray launched a scathing attack on the party’s rebel MPs on Monday. He claimed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates were rejected by the voters of their respective constituencies and supported the opposition India Alliance, but due to greed, they shamelessly abandoned that mandate overnight.
Aditya Thackeray said in a post on Twitter that the loyalty and reputation of the rebels are for sale. He also accused the government of favoritism and misuse of public money for political purposes.

Shiv Sena (UBT) got a shock
In a shock to Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, six of his party’s nine Lok Sabha MPs have rebelled. Two of them have also confirmed joining Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Those who are now changing sides…
Aditya Thackeray said, ‘Those who are changing sides now, all of them were elected from Mahavikas Aghadi and India Alliance against NDA. Leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) had campaigned for him. Everyone had asked leaders of all parties and allies to hold a rally.
What did Aditya Thackeray say?
He said, ‘Voters in your areas voted against NDA candidates and in favor of the India Alliance. Just accept that your greed forced you to give up everything overnight, and that too shamelessly.
Along with this, Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray raised questions on the way the BJP government is dealing with infiltration. Taking on the BJP government, he said that the ruling party is focusing on political work by ignoring important public issues like inflation, water scarcity, internal security and farmers’ welfare.

Among the six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs who have rebelled, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar and Omprakash Rajenimbalkar confirmed their switch on Sunday. He has cited reasons like lack of funds behind this. The rebellion has raised new questions over former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s ability to keep his party united, especially in view of future political battles.
