Ahmedabad, 27 February. The atmosphere at Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad on Friday was different. The fifth edition of GreenX Talks featured not only inspiring personalities but also the vision that Adani Group believes is the foundation of the future. The company believes that the real measure of development is not just size but the ability to take everyone along.
Jeet and Diva Adani explained the meaning of ‘GreenX’
The program started with speeches by Jeet and Diva Adani. Jeet Adani said that GreenX is not just a platform but a celebration of human excellence and dignity. Commenting on the name of the event, GreenX, he said, ‘Green is that which never ends, and X is a symbol of the extraordinary strength of the human spirit.’ Referring to his experiences, he said, ‘Power is temporary, but character is permanent.’ His message was clear, every person is the creator of his own destiny.
Diva Adani, daughter-in-law of Gautam Adani and wife of Jeet Adani, threw light on the real definition of inclusiveness. According to him, GreenX gives a platform to those who have made their place on the basis of merit and not on the basis of sympathy. He said that real inclusion is where people are included because they deserve it.
Special people were also present in the program
The special speakers who came on the stage during the program deeply impressed everyone present in the hall. Famous dancer and actress Sudha Chandran shares her story of struggle and success. He said that circumstances never decide a person’s identity, rather his determination decides the real direction of his life.
On the other hand, Srikant Bola, founder of Bolent Industries and a visually impaired entrepreneur, started his talk with a powerful statement. He said, ‘If you don’t dream the impossible, you won’t be able to achieve it.’ His determination was a symbol of the fact that every difficulty can truly become energy to achieve the purpose of life.
In the spirit of Institutional Inclusion, the chief guest of the event was V. Vidyavathi, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. His presence reflected the Government of India’s continued commitment to strengthening the rights-based framework, enhancing accessibility, skilling and creating social security pathways for persons with disabilities across the country.
Adani Ability Awards given
An important part of the program was the Adani Ability Awards, which were presented by Group Chairman Gautam Adani. This year, people who made notable contributions in various fields were honored. These areas include adaptive sports, public service, cultural contribution, social entrepreneurship and creative arts. Also, the Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team was honoured, which despite many obstacles has made a strong mark for itself.
Tradition, not just program
In five years, GreenX Talks has become more than just an event but a tradition within the Adani Group, highlighting the stories of people who exemplify courage, hard work and character.
