Gujarat Govt: Now passengers can lodge complaint by scanning QR code in Gujarat buses, action will be taken immediately.

Gujarat Govt: To improve the facilities and service quality of passengers, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation has started QR based feedback system. Under the new system, people traveling in buses can register their complaints immediately by scanning the QR code placed in front of their seats. They can also give suggestions and rate the services there.

The effect of this initiative is now being seen rapidly. Recently, some passengers had complained about foul smell in AC and Volvo buses, after which the corporation immediately installed air fresheners. This system is helpful in ensuring quick complaints and better service.

People gave the highest rating to security

According to the data for March 2026, GSRTC received feedback from 1,702 passengers, in which the average satisfaction rating was 4.5 out of 5. Security got the highest rating of 4.7. At the same time, people gave 4.6 stars to staff behavior and 4.5 stars to cleanliness.

Deputy CM said that different QR codes related to cleanliness will be installed in all the bus depots also. Feedback can be given directly to passengers through this. This initiative of Gujarat government is becoming an example of better public service through transparency, accountability and technology. Passengers’ confidence and satisfaction is increasing.
