The taxable income during this period is only Rs 16 lakh, of which Rs 3 lakh has been paid. According to the department, the temple management has not deposited the outstanding tax since 2017. A fine will be imposed for non-payment of the amount. 18 percent interest will also be charged on non-payment of fine.
