GT IPL 2026: Probable playing XI, full squad, biggest buys, squad composition and more

Gujarat Titans focused on adding balance and depth to their squad during the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi, making a few targeted purchases rather than headline-heavy moves. The Titans’ strategy revolved around strengthening their all-round options and shoring up their pace-bowling resources.

The biggest addition for the Ahmedabad-based franchise was West Indies all-rounder Jason Holderwho was signed for Rs 7 crore. Holder’s arrival adds experience, height, and flexibility to the Titans’ lower middle order while also providing a reliable seam-bowling option. GT also picked up a few pace backups to ensure adequate depth across a long tournament.

With a settled core already in place, the Titans appear to have prioritised squad balance over wholesale changes, retaining a strong Indian spine led by captain Shubman Gill and complemented by proven overseas match-winners.
