GT vs KKR : In the 25th match of IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans have defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets. In this match played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, KKR, batting first after winning the toss, scored 180 runs losing 10 wickets in 20 overs. GT won the match by 5 wickets by scoring 181 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 19.5 overs. Captain Shubman Gill made an important contribution for Gujarat Titans in this victory. He played an unbeaten half-century innings.

With this defeat, Kolkata Knight Riders’ dream of reaching the playoffs is almost over. KKR has not got a single win in 6 matches so far. He has faced defeat in 5 matches. He has 1 point in the points table only because his match against Punjab Kings was washed out due to rain, due to which he got one point. Now it is almost impossible for him to make it to the playoffs from here.

Shubman Gill played a brilliant half-century innings

He became the victim of Sunil Narayan after scoring 22 runs. After his departure, Gill opened his hands and scored a half-century. Gill completed his 50 runs in 27 balls with 6 fours and 2 sixes.

Gill did not stop here and played an excellent inning of 86 runs in 50 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes. During this period his strike rate was 170.00. For Gujarat, Jos Buttler contributed 25 runs, Washington Sundar contributed 13 runs and Glenn Phillips contributed 19 runs. Whereas for Kolkata Knight Riders, Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets and Sunil Narayan took 1 wicket.

Cameron Green’s innings of 79 runs went in vain

After a bad start for Kolkata Knight Riders, Cameron Green took the team to a respectable score. They Played an explosive inning of 79 runs in 55 balls with a stormy strike rate of 143.63 with 7 fours and 7 sixes. Apart from them, Rovman Powell scored 27 runs, Tim Seaford scored 19 runs and Ramandeep Singh scored 17 runs for the team. Whereas for Gujarat Titans, Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets, Mohammad Siraj took 2 wickets and Ashok Sharma took 2 wickets.
