How to make Jaggery Dumplings

To make jaggery dumpling, first add about 50 grams of jaggery in 1.5 cups of water and let it melt. Now take 2.5 cups of flour, add jaggery water to it, then mix them well and prepare a thick batter.

You can add fennel and cardamom powder to it for flavor. Also, if sesame seeds are present, mix them in the batter as well. Now add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and keep the batter aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

Heat a pan, add ghee or groundnut oil in it, when it becomes completely hot, put small balls of the prepared batter in it and fry it till it becomes golden brown from all the sides.
