The schedule for Class 10th (SSC), Sanskrit First, Class 12th (HSC) Science Stream and General Stream, Higher Secondary Basic Stream, Vocational Stream and Sanskrit Medium candidates in February-March 2026 was released on November 8. But in the public holiday list released on November 27, March 4 has been declared a holiday on the occasion of Dhuleti. In view of this, the dates of all the examinations to be held on this day have been changed.
Date of these exams of class 10th and 12th changed
Class 10th General Science Examination (SSCE) was scheduled to be held on March 4. Which has now been postponed. Now the exam will be held on 18th March. On March 4, apart from history, biology and agricultural chemistry, economics and business administration, papers of sociology, psychology and economics and physical mathematics were to be held for class 12th. Which is now going to be organized on 18th March. The paper of Basic Elements of NAMA will now be conducted on 17th March. The paper of class 12th science stream Biology will also be held on 16th March. Sanskrit First Social Science and Sanskrit Madhyama Sociology examination will also be conducted on March 16. There has been no change in the exam or timing of other subjects.
Board exams start from 26th February
Gujarat Board class 10th and 12th exams are going to start from 26th February. The examination of both classes will end on 16 March 2026. Candidates must reach the exam center 30 minutes before on the first day of the exam. On other days, they have been asked to appear 20 minutes before the commencement of the examination. General Stream Musical Subject Practical Exam will be conducted by the school. Also, marks will be sent to the board online by 20th February 2026.
The practical exam subjects of vocational stream Agriculture, Commerce, Home Science and Tantrik group and the practical exam of Higher North Basic stream will be conducted by the respective schools. Schools will have to inform school examinees about the program by January 31, 2026. And online marks will have to be sent to the board by 20th February 2026.
