Gujarat: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurates center to connect tribal women with employment

Valsad, 27 December. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday formally inaugurated the Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Center of Excellence for Women at Dharampur in Valsad district in Gujarat. This special center has been started especially with the aim of making women living in tribal dominated areas self-reliant.

Rajnath Singh took information about various social and service activities of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Ashram. He highly appreciated the efforts being made for livelihood, skill development and empowerment of tribal women. In the programs run by the Mission, women are provided training, employment opportunities and self-employment facilities, which is reducing poverty and unemployment in the area.

Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur welcomed Rajnath Singh on his arrival. The inauguration of Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Center of Excellence for Women in the sacred presence of Pujya Gurudev Shri Rakeshji reflects our commitment towards spiritual awakening through meaningful social change while maintaining dignity, self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods for women.’
