Gujarat: Dirty work was being done with innocent children in the hostel, complaint registered

Bureau Prayagraj- A case of sexual harassment of minor children has come to light in a hostel located in Palitana village of Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. In this case, the father of a child has lodged a complaint against the hostel superintendent at Palitana Town Police Station. However, this entire incident came to light when the child told this not by speaking but in writing. After coming to know about the incident, the father of the victim child has lodged a complaint with the police.

Regarding this, the father of the victim child told that his child earlier studied in a hostel in Palitana till classes 4, 5 and 6. Then in seventh class he was taken back to Rajkot. But then he was again sent to Palitana Hostel to study for classes 8, 9 and 10.

The child’s father said that he had sent the child to Palitana for the purpose of religion, values ​​and education. After the 10th exam was over, his child and his friends were planning to have fun. At the same time, the child sent a photo of a handwritten note on WhatsApp to his father’s friend, who lives in Bhavnagar, and the friend forwarded it to the victim’s father, telling him not to tell anything about it to his wife and to come to Bhavnagar immediately.

The complainant told that the hostel superintendent did wrong things with my child. My child told that this work is done with children of 8th, 9th and 10th class. We have now lodged a complaint in this regard with the DSP as well. This complaint has been taken under Section 115 (1), Section 4 and 6 of POCSO and Section 75 of the Juvenile Act.
