Gujarat Nikay Chunav 2026: Modi magic works again! BJP has huge majority in 11 out of 15 municipal corporations

Gujarat Local Body Election 2026: BJP has registered a strong performance and registered a big victory in the municipal elections of Gujarat. The party has secured majority in 11 out of 15 municipal corporations of the state, while it is leading in the remaining four municipal corporations also. Out of total 1044 seats of Municipal Corporations, BJP has captured 695 seats. Congress stood second with 61 seats, while other candidates got five seats. If we talk about municipalities, out of total 2030 seats, BJP has won 1563 seats. Congress won 319 seats, while other parties and independents won 183 seats.
