Gujarat Police's female constable performed excellently in arm wrestling and won bronze medal

Mittalba Kantilal Parmar is working as a woman police constable in Gandhinagar District Police in Gujarat State Police Division in Gandhinagar Local Crime Branch, who participated on behalf of Gujarat Police in the 73rd All India Police Wrestling Cluster 2024-2025 held in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh). She has brought laurels to Gujarat Police by winning the bronze medal by securing the third position in arm wrestling.

Mittalba who has participated in wrestling, powerlifting, arm wrestling at international level, national level and state level on behalf of Gujarat Police and has won a total of 47 medals. Thus, he has achieved special achievements by participating in various national/state level wrestling, arm wrestling and powerlifting competitions.

Moreover, in the history of Gujarat State Police Department, she is the first woman police officer to bring pride to the name of the state police department by winning an award as the only woman wrestler in the field of wrestling. She is the only woman police officer of the state to have secured the third rank in the Diploma in Sports Coaching (NIS) Wrestling Test as an official wrestling coach in the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Patiala, Government of India. She will participate in the international World Powerlifting Competition to be held in the US next year.
