Gujarati: Due to monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, T20 league will be played in Gwalior instead of Indore.

Madhya Pradesh T20 League will be organized in Gwalior instead of Indore. The organizers have taken this decision due to monsoon season. This league will start from 27th May and will run till 12th June, all the matches of which will be played at Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Shankarpur.

According to a press release issued by the organizers, ‘Due to the possibility of early arrival of monsoon in Indore and the Indian Premier League, the Madhya Pradesh League will now be held in Gwalior instead of Indore.’ Last year also the first session was played in Gwalior. Madhya Pradesh League President Mahaaryaman Scindia said, ‘Gwalior holds a special place in the hearts of our players and fans and we are very happy to return there.’ This time, we are proud to provide more opportunities to the talents of Madhya Pradesh with two new teams and the first women’s league.

It is worth mentioning here that IPL is entering its final phase, on the other hand now the monsoon season is arriving. Therefore, an important decision has been taken by the system regarding Madhya Pradesh T20 League.
