Gwalior student made a single seater drone, know how much it costs?
Bhopal: Medhansh Trivedi, a Class 12 student at Scindia School, Gwalior, has developed a unique drone which is capable of carrying a human being. This single-seater drone has been named MLDT 01, which took them three months to make and cost Rs 3.5 lakh. This drone can lift a weight of up to 80 kg and is capable of flying for six minutes. To ensure safety, at present it is being flown to a height of only 10 meters. Medhansh told that he got inspiration for this innovation from the drones he saw in China. He especially thanked his teacher Manoj Mishra, who provided technical assistance and guidance. Medansh says that his teachers played an important role in making this project successful.

Union Minister met
On Thursday, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met Medhansh at his residence in New Delhi and praised his invention. Further, the Minister described this drone as a big start and advised Medhansh to move ahead and be ready to study in leading institutions of the world. Along with this, he also assured Medhansh of all possible help.
ISRO chief praised
On the occasion of the foundation day of Scindia School, ISRO chief S. Somnath also praised this innovation of Medhansh. Apart from this, a statement issued by the school said that this drone is an important step towards technological progress, which reflects the hard work and passion of Medansh. This innovation of Medhansh has given him recognition at the national level, which can contribute to technological progress in the future.
