Haaland scored a brace in Wednesday’s 5-0 win over Sparta Prague to move level with Chelsea a great Didier Drogba on the Champions League all-time goalscorers list.
The forward has now scored 13 goals in 12 competitive appearances this season, helping Man City make an unbeaten start to the 2024-25 campaign.
Having netted 10 of those goals in the English top flight, Haaland is currently sitting four goals clear at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
Haaland is ultimately regarded as one of the key members of Pep Guardiola‘s side, but his prolific record makes him a potential target for any top European club.

A recent report claimed that Barcelona are prepared to ‘go all out’ to prise Haaland away from the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Barcelona’s arch-rivals, Real Madrid, are long-term admirers of Haaland and could look to add him to their star-studded forward line with Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.
According to Sports Worldthe Norway international is open to the idea of moving to Real Madrid in the future.
There is said to be ‘mutual interest’ between the two parties, which could potentially open the door to a move in 2025.
The report claims that Haaland has a €150m (£125m) release in his Man City contract which is set to run until the summer of 2027.
