Hajj 2026: Through which app you can book for Hajj, know the rules from payment to refund

Every year, millions of Muslims keep their eyes fixed on Haj pilgrimage. This religious pilgrimage takes place every year in the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia in the month of Dhul Hijjah of the Islamic calendar.

This time the entire booking process for Haj 2026 has been kept online. The Saudi government has made the Nusuk platform the official portal for this.

  • You can also book through Nusuk mobile app.
  • Apart from the mobile app, you can also fill the form by visiting the official website of Nusuk.
  • Here pilgrims can see different Haj packages and choose the option according to their need and budget.
  • Can generate booking invoice. After this, upon payment, their booking is confirmed.

What are the rules for payment?

  • The Haj Ministry has set a strict time limit for booking and payment.
  • Payment will be required within 72 hours of the booking invoice being generated.
  • This rule will remain in force till 14 May (27 Dhul Qada).
  • After this the rules will become more strict.
  • There will be only 6 hours time for payment from May 15th.
  • If payment is not made within the stipulated time, the booking will be automatically canceled and the seat will be given to another passenger.

Cancellation and Refund Rules

  • Haj Ministry has also clarified the rules related to cancellation and refund.
  • Booking can be canceled without any deduction till 18th April (30 Shawwal), provided Haj permit has not been issued.
  • After the Haj permit is issued, some fees may be deducted in case of cancellation.
  • No refund will be given on any cancellation made after 18th May (1 Dhul Hijjah).

  • The Ministry of Haj and Umrah has advised pilgrims to read all the conditions and facilities carefully before choosing the package.
  • Also, it is important to make the payment within the stipulated time, so that there is no risk of cancellation of the booking.
  • The Saudi government says that the purpose of the digital booking system is to make the Haj pilgrimage more transparent, organized and easy, so that millions of pilgrims can get the opportunity to undertake this holy journey in a better way.
