Hema Malini was smart in studies and history was her favorite subject. However, even before giving the 10th class examination, Hema Malini started getting acting opportunities. Because of which Hema Malini could not complete her studies.

Hema's film career began at the age of 14, when producer-director Sridhar asked her to wear a saree for a photoshoot to make her look older. His first break in Hindi cinema was in the 1968 film “Sapno Ka Saudagar”, in which his hero was Raj Kapoor.

Who was much older than Hema at that time. It is said that Rajkooper had offered the role of Zeenat Aman to Hema Malini for his famous film “Satyam-Shivam Sundaram”, but there were many scenes of body exhibitionism in the film, hence Hema Malini rejected the offer.

After the success of the film “Johnny Mera Naam” in 1970, Hema became popular in cinema. In 1972, Hema played a double role in Sita Aur Geeta, due to which she became one of the top heroines. He also received the Filmfare Award for this film.
