Happy Birthday Umesh Yadav: Showed his talent on the cricket field, but Umesh Yadav could not fulfill his father's dream.

sports desk : Indian team's fast bowler Umesh Yadav was born on 25 October 1987. Today Umesh is celebrating his 37th birthday. Umesh Yadav had made a place in Team India because of his speed and accuracy. But there was a time when Umesh Yadav used to work in a coal mine. Umesh is currently busy playing Ranji Trophy with Vidarbha.

Umesh Yadav's father, who was out of Team India for some time, had a dream that his son should join the police or go to the army and serve the country. But this could not happen. Due to financial constraints he could not educate his son much. However, fate had something else in store. His passion and madness towards cricket brought him fame in the cricket field.

Umesh started his cricket career with tennis ball cricket. Umesh's dream was big, he reached leather ball cricket while playing tennis ball. Then he left tennis ball cricket and completely took up leather ball cricket. After this, he gradually started practicing with it and due to his speed, he soon got a chance to play for Vidarbha. Ever since he got the opportunity to play for Vidarbha, he has not looked back.

Got a chance to play Ranji Trophy in 2008

Umesh Yadav got the opportunity to play in Ranji Trophy in 2008. In the first innings, he took 4 wickets for 75 runs, due to which he came in the sight of the selectors. After this he got a chance to play with Delhi Daredevils in IPL. Then in 2010 he debuted in the Indian team. Made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 28 May 2010. After that he made his Test debut against West Indies on 6 November 2011. His debut in ODI took place on 7 August 2012.

Umesh Yadav's career

Umesh Yadav has played all three formats for India. Umesh has taken 170 wickets in 57 tests. He has taken 106 wickets in 75 ODIs. Whereas he has taken 12 wickets in 9 T20 International matches. Umesh Yadav is also known for hitting some sixes at the end of the bat. He scored 460 runs in the test. Scored 79 runs in ODI and 22 runs in T20.
