Happy New Year 2026: New Year has started, the entire country is immersed in celebration from Mumbai-Delhi to Goa.

India Celebrate New Year 2026: The new year 2026 has arrived with happiness and new expectations for the whole world. As soon as the hands of the clock reached 12 midnight, people started saying goodbye to the old year and welcoming the new year. There was a scene of celebration from the streets to the sky where colorful fireworks illuminated the sky.

New Year celebrations were in full swing in India’s big cities Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. People attended parties with family and friends while live music, DJ nights and countdown events were organized at many places. Huge crowds were seen even at famous tourist places.

New Year celebrations gathered at India Gate

A large number of people reached Delhi’s India Gate to welcome the New Year. The historical buildings of the capital were seen colored in the colors of light and enthusiasm. However, due to heavy crowd the traffic speed slowed down in many areas. Especially huge traffic was seen in ITO area. To avoid any untoward incident, Delhi Police remained on full alert mode and patrolled everywhere.

Welcome the new year with wishes for the progress of the country.

People who came to celebrate the New Year in many areas of Delhi including Connaught Place wished that the New Year brings progress, peace and prosperity for the country. At the same time, the police has especially kept an eye on the cases of drunk and driving and has warned of adopting a strict stance against those who break the rules.

Crowd of tourists gathered on Mall Road of Manali

There was a lot of enthusiasm about the New Year in Manali, Himachal Pradesh also. A large number of tourists gathered on Mall Road. Under the Winter Carnival, the administration organized a DJ night till 10 pm in which the entire area was packed with tourists. People were seen dancing and dancing to the tune of music.

New Year celebration in snow covered Sonamarg valley

Along with this, people also welcomed the New Year 2026 in a joyous atmosphere with fireworks in the snow-covered Sonamarg Valley of Jammu and Kashmir.
