Harbhajan Singh Security Case: Rajya Sabha MP and former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court challenging the decision to withdraw his security. Order to present threat assessment report

During the hearing, the court also directed the state government to place on record the ‘Threat Assessment Report’. The court wants to know what level of threat Harbhajan Singh was assessed to be and whether changes in security were made on that basis or not. This aspect is considered important in this case, because security related decisions are usually based on threat assessment.
