Harbhajan Singh’s warning before the great India-Pakistan match, said – Team India should be cautious

Tezzbuzz Desk- Before the high voltage match between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has expressed confidence of Team India’s victory. However, he has also warned the players that if caution is not exercised then Pakistan’s mystery spinner Usman Tariq can change the course of the match.

This match between India and Pakistan is to be played in Colombo on Sunday. Harbhajan believes that the Indian team is balanced and strong, but it will have to avoid any kind of carelessness.

He said, “India can win the match, but Pakistan has a good spinner like Usman Tariq. They have to play carefully and not take unnecessary risks.”

Harbhajan appealed to the team led by captain Suryakumar Yadav to come on the field without pressure. He said that the Indian team has both experience and talent, all that is needed is patience and right strategy.

India have made a great start to the tournament with two consecutive wins, but the team has faced challenges in the middle overs against spin bowling. The spinners of America and Namibia had troubled India. In such a situation, Usman Tariq’s variety and different rhythm can test the Indian batsmen.

So far eight matches have been played between India and Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, out of which India has emerged victorious seven times. Pakistan had only one win in the 2021 T20 World Cup, when it defeated India by 10 wickets.

The Indian team has had the upper hand in the ODI and T20 World Cups combined. Last year also in the Asia Cup, both the teams had come face to face thrice and India had won every time, which also included the final match.

Looking at the statistics and current form, India are being considered as strong contenders, but anything is possible on any day in cricket. In such a situation, this match is expected to be full of thrill.
