Hardik Pandya enters elite club, becomes first Indian to achieve rare T20I double
Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya creates history by becoming the first Indian to achieve a rare double in T20 International.

India and South Africa faced each other in the third T20 in Dharamshala, where Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya etched his name into the record books with a historic performance.
Hardik Pandya completed 100 wickets in T20 Internationals by dismissing Tristan Stubbs in the third T20 match, becoming only the third Indian to reach the milestone.
First Indian to achieve unique double
With this feat, Hardik Pandya became the first Indian and only the fourth player in the world to hit 100 sixes and take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals. Before him, only three players had achieved the feat of hitting ‘100 sixes’ and taking ‘100 wickets’ in T20 International cricket. This list includes Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe), Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan), and Virandeep Singh (Malaysia). Hardik Pandya has now joined this exclusive list.
First fast bowler with 1000 runs and 100 wickets
Hardik Pandya also became the first fast-bowling all-rounder to score 1000 plus runs and take more than 100 wickets in Men’s T20Is. Previously, only three spin-bowling all-rounders, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, and Sikandar Raza, had achieved this milestone.
Third Indian to reach 100 T20I wickets
Hardik Pandya is now the third Indian to take 100 wickets in T20 International, after Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah.
India took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series on Sunday after defeating South Africa by seven wickets in the third Twenty20 International thanks to a clinical performance by the pacers.
After the Indian pacers produced a captivating spell of swings bowling to bundle out South Africa for a below-par 117, the batters chased down the target with 25 balls remaining.
