Hardik Pandya will achieve several firsts against England – he will become the first Indian to take 20 T20I wickets against them, besides being the second player in history to score 1500+ runs and take 100 wickets in T20Is.

New Delhi: India will return to white-ball mode as they will lock horns against England in a five-match T20I series. The first game will take place on January 22 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India’s head coach will expect Hardik Pandya to make impact in the series and make team win games with both bat and ball. The former India vice-captain will be looking to achieve major milestone against England.

Hardik Pandya has clinched 14 wickets against England in T20Is. If he clinches 6 more wickets in the T20I series against England, then he will become first Indian player to take 20 wickets against the English team in T20Is. If Pandya takes 3 wickets in the first T20I game then he will leave Yuzvendra Chahal to become the Indian with most wickets against England.
